Yesterday’s ride was also a “new kit day” ride. I had installed the @wolf_tooth_comp RoadLink DM to improve shifting of my recently installed @rideshimano RD-RX800 and 11–40 XT cassette. Mind you, shifting works fine with this combination alone but it’s not as smooth as I would’ve hoped. I’m not sure if the amount of B-screw tension I had to apply to make the derailleur clear the 40-tooth cog is a factor here. Anyway, the RoadLink DM really helped. Shifting performance is now on the level of my old RD-R8000 and 11–30 cassette combination.
