I just noticed again how some electric cars sound similar to electric and flying cars shown in movies over the years and I’m loving it.

While I like the feel of the Fabric silicone handle bar tape, even closely wrapped it doesn’t provide nearly as much cushioning as the Specialized S-Wrap HD. No handle bar tape I’ve tried over the past three years beats the Specialized for gravel use for me. 🚲

“Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” will be in theatres next week, “The Eternals” on 5 November, and “Spider-Man: No Way Home” on 17 December. Really, really excited for all three of those movies.

Jom of Gravel Cyclist took some time to build up a 1989 Specialized Rock Combo, one of the original gravel bikes, and quite close to its original spec. Such a nice bike and so capable. 🚲

A couple of rides later, I’m not hating the fenders. Still getting used to how it looks on the gravel bike but it’s not bad. 🚲

Working from a café in Staufen im Breisgau and whew they do not mess around with the espresso here. Impressive stuff.
