  • It’s coming. Run!

    Night time scene. The cathedral of Trier and the square in front of it is visible in the background. The cathedral is lit from the outside. In the middle distance there are safety pollards separating the cathedral square and the passageway the observer is standing in. The pollards have a red light at the top and are illuminating the wet floor in front of them. Between two of the pollards a dark figure clad in a long trench coat and a wide-brimmed hat approaches. They are carrying and old lantern.

  • Cheeky blackbird. I was about 2 m away and it didn’t let itself be disturbed by my presence. It just kept digging for worms on this green roof.
