This article by @nileane@nileane.fr about Meta‘s hostile stance towards LGBT and other marginalized voices on Threads is sad but entirely unsurprising. Hate drives engagement. I‘m really glad for the fediverse and I hope it will continue to grow and start to gain relevance.
Well dang. This perfectly captures why I find Alien so difficult to watch. It’s always felt like an almost too intimate look at the events. Like I’m sitting at a restaurant table with a group of strangers by coincidence, incapable of not listening in on their conversation.
